šŸ“Free Strawberry Embroidery Pattern

dissolvable

The yellow dress is coming along!

Thank you for all of your support with this new project - if you are a new reader, welcome!

There were sooooo many great idea in the comments, but this week the strawberry was calling to me!

Save this image and use it for your own strawberry creation!

I’ve unintentionally chosen the most time consuming stitches so I’m actually taking a break from stitching to write this! But I really wanted to get this out to you before Friday in case you wanted an early start 🫶

Here’s the stitch plan:

Materials:

  • Embroidery 10 needle

  • Stranded cotton embroidery floss

  • Seed beads + machine thread (optional)

  • Scissors

  • Hoop

  • To transfer this week I’m using dissolvable stabilizer

Outline the design (minus the little seeds) using a split stitch with two strands. This is the stitch I used in my last video!

For the green top I used a satin stitch with two strands, and for the main body I’m using a long and short stitch with 4 strands.

Optional - use seed beads to add in the cute seeds dotted on the strawberry.

Tune in tomorrow for a slightly more in-depth tutorial in my reel - if you decide to stitch along, I’d love to see what you create!

P.S. In the future I’m going to try and finish the stitches a few days before I send out the pattern and writing out more in-depth instructions. Stay tuned!
